Elpis Security
Privacy information
Elpis Security Limited is the controller of information you provide to us. Our registered office is listed at the foot of this page. Contact info@elpis-security.uk about privacy or your information.
When you visit
This page has no booking form, newsletter sign-up, advertising or analytics. Our hosting providers may process technical information, such as your IP address, browser information and request details, to deliver and protect the website. This supports our legitimate interest in operating a secure website. Technical records are kept only as needed for that purpose, security investigations or legal requirements, in accordance with the providers' applicable retention arrangements.
When you email us
If you choose to email, we receive your email address, any name you provide and your message. We use these to respond and manage your enquiry, relying on our legitimate interest in handling correspondence, or to take steps at your request before a contract where appropriate. You do not have to email us; if you do, we need enough information to reply. Please avoid sending passwords, access codes or unnecessary sensitive information.
We normally keep enquiries that do not lead to work for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, as set out in our existing retention policy, and delete them sooner when they are no longer needed. We may retain relevant information longer where needed to meet a legal obligation or handle a dispute. Emailing us does not subscribe you to marketing or create a booking.
Providers and your rights
Our email service is Microsoft 365. Our website hosting and infrastructure providers process technical information needed to operate the site. Information may also be disclosed where required by law. We do not sell your personal information or make automated decisions about you. Technology providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable data-protection terms; contact us for details of the relevant transfer arrangements and safeguards.
You may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, object to processing, and receive a portable copy where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time. Contact us using the email above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
